Power Distribution Project for Libya

DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GMBH executed all transports of the 400 / 220 KV project Khoms / GAMRA in Libya. This project involved the transportation of most modern switch gear and transformers with unit weights of up to 240 tons. These transformers were partly transported to the area of Hassaouna, which is approximately 500 kms south of Misurata in the desert. DAKO - together with its delegation office in Tripoli / Libya - was responsible for all the logistic. The local transportation in Libya was done by DAKO's partner KES (KALLAT EL SAKER).
