Plywood factory for India

DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GMBH recently executed the transport of a new plywood factory with a volume of about 20.000 frt from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Baltic States, Italy and the United States to Krishnapatnam / India. The total quantity was partly shipped by container vessels using shipping lines and shipper's own containers but also for bulky cargo, flat racks with overwidth and overheights.

About 6.000 frt were shipped by part charter vessel which was loaded especially with very bulky cargo originating from Finland and the Baltic States directly to Krishnapatnam, located at the east coast of India in the state of Andrha Pradesh.

It was very challenging to do the transport to a port which does not have any special facilities for such project cargoes. The local port supervision and handling as well as control of all the cargo was done by DAKO's sister company DACOTRANS SUPPLYCHAIN PVT. LTD. New Delhi / India.
