Power Plant for Bahamas

DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GMBH was in charge of the transport and foundation delivery of 4 engines on New Providence, Bahamas.

For that purpose DAKO mobilized a 9 axle PST trailer along with Jack&Slide Equipment temporarily from the US mainland.

The four engines were discharged from incoming vessel ex Finland in Nassau and for the temporary storage put on elefant beams. Afterwards the engines were loaded each with the port cranes onto the 9 axle PST trailer and one by another transported to the jobsite. There the engines were positioned onto their foundation by the Jack&Slide Equipment.

Thanks to an excellent preparation and teamwork with our customer and subcontractores we successfully executed the job within just 11 days.
