Windpower Plant Project for Peru

DAKO WORLDWIDE TRANSPORT GMBH has shipped approx. 11.500 frt from Spain to Peru. The ocean transport was organized by part charter. Cargo was shipped in three lots from Sagunto to Pisco.

The nacelles had a weight of each 109 tons and were loaded with two shore cranes into the vessel. Discharge in Pisco / Peru was effected by vessel's own gear.

In Pisco all the heavy lifts were directly received from the vessel onto hydraulic trailers and brought to a storage area inside the port compound from where at a later stage the transport was organized to the construction site.
